The tavern is housed in the medieval El Portalón building on Calle Correría. Beamed ceilings, exposed stone, wooden chairs and a kitchen that cooks casseroles and pork without fuss.
People come to the bar for pintxos: battered pig’s ear, crispy pork belly or fried black pudding with spicy peppers. The dining room is for sitting down and taking your time.
